Bio
Doug Sellers, Regional Director of Sales, joined DMI in February of 2025. Doug has over 18 years of hotel / hospitality experience including front of the house and back of the house Operations, Sales, and Training & Development. In addition to his hotel experience, Doug has worked in Training & Development for Signature Worldwide, Jack in the Box Restaurants, InterContinental Hotel Group, Sysco Business Services, Woodforest National Bank, and Whataburger Restaurants. Most recently, Doug served as a Director, National Accounts with Global Cynergies, LLC.
A native of Southern Louisiana, Doug received his undergraduate degree from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana, as well as obtaining his Commercial Pilot License and Instrument Rating. In May of 2010, Doug graduated with his Master of Arts in Human Performance Improvement from Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois.
In his spare time, Doug enjoys spending time with his two children whether on the golf course or in a quaint coffee shop. He also enjoys attending live concerts, being a “foodie”, and visiting craft breweries and wineries. Being from Louisiana, Doug’s two favorite sports teams are the New Orleans Saints and any of the LSU Tigers teams.
