Jim Herzog began working in the hotel business in the mid-80’s, but it was in his blood long before. Growing up in a baseball family, he traveled the country during the summer months and enjoyed staying in many hotels. After beginning his hotel career on property at resorts and downtown hotels, Jim joined the DMI team in the year 2000. Jim concentrates his promotional efforts on the areas of Missouri, Kansas, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Southern Illinois, but also has clients outside of these areas with people that he has met, worked with, etc. throughout the years. Jim enjoys providing solutions to his clients for their meeting needs and supports the hotel industry organizations of MPI, PCMA, STLBTA, MM&E, ISAE, and MSAE. In his spare time, Jim enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoys hiking, biking, tennis, softball, pickleball, working around the house with his wife, and walking their two border collie dogs.
